Mélanie Lacroix | Denturist
- Graduated in Dental Technology from Édouard-Montpetit College in 2002.
- Has worked in several dental laboratories in the Montreal region fabricating fixed and removable prosthesis.
- Graduated in Denturology from Édouard-Montpetit College in 2008.
- Has joined her father’s Denture Clinic in June 2008 as a denturist.
- Took a course on Dental Implants given by Zimmer Dental and the Dental Implant Society (2009).
- Participates regularly in continuing education courses, group study clubs and symposiums in order to keep up to date with technology.
Geneviève Bruneault | Denturist
- Graduated from Lionel-Groulx College in 2002 in ”Sciences, Lettres et Arts”
- Graduated in Denturology from Édouard-Montpetit College in 2008.
- Has been working at the Lacroix Denture Clinic since 2008.
- Took a course in implantology with Zimmer Dental and the Dental Implant Society.
- Participates regularly in Study groups and symposiums with the Dental Implant Society
Serge Lacroix | DD(ret.)
- Has graduated from the Dental Technology program at George Brown College (Toronto) in 1976 and obtained his R.D.T. in 1977.
- He graduated from the Denturist program at George Brown College in 1979.
- He has been practicing denturology in the small town of Hawkesbury in Eastern Ontario since then.
- Starting in 2000 when he joined the Dental Implant Society, he started to actively offer implant retained and implant supported denture services to his patients.
- Has the status of retired denturist since 2021. Although he doesn’t work directly with patients, he still participates actively in the repair and fabrication of the dentures in the lab. He also acts a a mentor for the other three denturists of the clinic.
The best teamwork comes from men who are working independently toward one goal in unison.
Our Story
In 1979 after spending six years in Toronto completing his college courses, Serge Lacroix decided that it was in Hawkesbury, his hometown, that he was going to open his denture clinic. He rented a unit in the Assaly Arcade on Main street, bought his equipment and started his business. Almost from the beginning, he worked alongside his sister, Louise, who gave him a hand with the lab work and reception. A few years later, Judith who is still to this day working at our clinic, started working at the reception. The first few years weren’t easy but thankfully people trusted and encouraged him. With long hours, hard work and dedication the clinic grew in popularity and success.

In 2018 Mélanie purchased the clinic. Since then Serge has gradually reduced his hours at the chair to enjoy more time helping with the lab work.
